Chrysoberyl
Chrysoberyl. A cousin of the beryl family ( morganite, emerald, aquamarine...). Chrysoberyl that changes color is alexandrite, a gem in it's own class. Most chrysoberyl ranges from brownish/yellow to greenish/yellow. These stones are in this category. Chrysoberyl's high refractive index always makes for a sparkling gem with high collectable value.
