Citrithyst
Let me explain this one. Technically speaking, what I call Citrithyst is ametrine. But ametrine is also known as Trystine. These are common names for quartz that shows both amethyst and citrine in the same stone or crystal. I grade citrithyst by two criteria. If it has more citrine than amethyst, and the zoning is not distinct as viewed from the front, it is citrithyst. If there is more purple than yellow, or there is distinctive banding, I call it ametrine. Simple, right? Hmm. There's always those few. So, if you get one and think it's ametrine, so be it. You bought it, it's yours to name as you want. Democracy. If you see something you want, just click on the 'add' button to the left of each listing. It will be added to your cart. Most items will be single listings. It will noted when more than one is available; if more than one is wanted of those, just add them one at a time to the cart. When you are ready, click on the check out button to go to the electronic cashier form. There is more information there about payment options. |
