Please Note: We are changing the format of our pages in order to speed up loading times. And after reading my explanation below (if you want to) some of you will either have a headache, or want to track me down to beat me within an inch of my life. However, I plan on having navigation so easy as to make this plea for mercy either unnessesary, or go unnoticed. Here goes:

We will be starting with the gemstones in alphabetical order. When you click on a catagory listing, such as "gemstones", in the Main Index you will go to a seperate Catagory Index page with a listing of items available in that catagory.

Some of the item links in the Catagory Index will go to a page with thumbnail images so that you can get an idea of what each item looks like before clicking on them to see the larger image. This should save your clicking finger some wear and tear. Other Catagory Index links will take you to a bookmark on the same page, just like before, that has the blue underlined links to the image.

All the pages will have links back to the Catagory Index and the Main Index. Isn't this as clear as mud? Eventually all pages will be converted to the thumbnail style. Please be patient with this process. I'm hoping in the end that it will be better and more convenient for all. We're sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.  GWB

If you see something you want, make a note of the blue underlined item codes, or the code under the thumbnail images.

Bear with our pictures. Some are better than others, but none really show the gems here at their best. I'm still trying, though.

My cuts & designs

I created this area to showcase gemstones that I have designed & cut myself. I'm trying to put as many of my custom cuts here as I can as time goes on. I select the best material available to me for this. All my cuts are done on my Ultratech faceting machine. All facets are cut at optimal angles for best reflectivity, and placed for best light dispersion. Girdle facets will be polished whenever possible for added liveliness. I also cut my pavilion facets using a technique I developed over the years that puts a round brilliant cut on rectangles, ovals, and squares. Marquis are impossible. Too long. It is similar to a barion type cut, but is not. It comes to a point like meet point faceting, but is not. It is mine. This results in a gem that sparkles throughout the stone like a round brilliant, but is not. None of that swish/swish end to end light run. No fisheye. Of course, not all will be able to be cut this way, but will be expertly cut all the same. Thanks for putting up with my windiness and I hope you enjoy these.    GWB

SOLD...    8.2x6.2mm rectangle magenta Rhodolite garnet. 2.45 cts. This one has my round brilliant cut pavilion. Scissors cut crown. Faceted girdle. Picture once again does not capture its real beauty, but isn't bad. This one is now going up on auction. If it does not sell there, it will be here right after that. It is listed there at a very appealing price of $8.00/ct. When it comes back here it will be listed higher per carat. How else could I justify the auctions?
